The Role

As an Account Technician at Holded, you will play a key role in the Finance team. Reporting to the VP of Finance, you will be responsible for the billing control, tax submission, daily entries as well as monthly and annual closing process. We are looking for a proactive, problem solving and oriented to detail person, with strong commitment and focused on deadlines.

Billing control:
Assume the ownership of company billing, correct tax application, resolve disputes, refunds and check the invoices pending collection. Check customer fiscal information.
Daily entries:
Provide accurate accounting of all sales/purchase invoices. Provision of future costs. Correct application of income/expenses accrual.
Monthly and Annual Closing Process:
Contribute to the closing process involving Bank Transactions, Payroll, Accruals, Deferred Expenses, Amortizations, and Taxes. Monthly gateway reconciliation as Stripe/PayPal.
Taxes submission:
Be aware of the SII submission, sending the information of sales and purchases every 4 days.

Job requirements

About you

  • You are a Spanish native speaker and fluent in English

  • Degree in any finance-related field 

  • At least 3 years experience in a similar role.

  • Deep understanding of Spanish GAAP(PGC), value-added tax, withholding tax, and SII.

  • You have a good understanding of ERP systems and also you’re a master of Excel

  • Experience working with payments gateway: desirable, previous experience working with Stripe.
